Certification

Certificates are issued once work is completed, and give information regarding the particulars of the installation. Certificates are valuable document that should be retained with the house or installation for future reference. Often certificates are Important on the sale of a house for example.

The four main types of certificates that we issue are:

 

Minor Works Certificates

This certificate is issued when work of adding or altering an existing circuit does not extend to the provision of a new circuit, such as the addition of a socket or lighting point to an existing circuit.

 

Electrical Installation Certificate

This certificate is issued for new electrical installations (such as a rewire) or for work altering or adding to an existing electrical installation in  a single dwelling house or individual flat.

 

Danger Notification Form

If a real and immediate danger is found within your electrical installation we will issue this certificate to bring it to your attention so that remedial work can be carried out.

 

Periodic Inspection Report (Condition Report)

This detailed 6 page report will give you an overview of the overall electrical installation. Also known as a Landlord Certificate, every electrical installation should have a Periodic Inspection and Report on a regular basis.
